Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in the event Open days of Ukrainian education “Study in Ukraine 2019”, which took place in Abuja city, Nigeria on 11th – 12th April 2019. In the opening ceremony took part Ambassador of Ukraine to Nigeria Valerii Aleksandruk , Technical assistant to the Honorable Minister of Education Mohammed Mahmud, vice-presidents of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry Prof. Adesoji Adesugba and Anthonia Shoyele, representative of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nigeria Nedryhaylo Olena and head of the Department of International Cooperation of Ukrainian State Center for International Education Kostyantyn Komisarov. Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design represented prof., Pro-Rector Vitalii Chaban.
Open days of Ukrainian education was attended by number of school children and their parents, perspective students, mass media and journalists, graduates from Ukrainian higher educational establishments, president of Association of Nigerian Students.
In the frame of Ukrainian Open Days Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design held the presentation to perspective students from Nigeria and to their parents, consultations on degree programs choice and admission processing to University.
Also, in the frame of visit to Nigeria Ukrainian delegation had a meeting with Permanent Secretary of Federal Ministry of Education of Nigeria Arc. Sonny S.T. Echono and heads of Ministry’s departments. A large press conference to leading Nigerian mass media was held and negotiations on expanding of cooperation in the field of education between Ukraine and Nigeria.
