The Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and the educational investment and technology cluster of light industry in Kyiv took part in the first technology forum "UPDATE of Ukrainian Light Industry" and in the exhibition "Uniform as the face of Business", which took place on April 22-23, 2019 in the Ukrainian chamber of commerce and industry.

This event is important for promoting the development of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design to the light industry and other industries of the domestic industry. The forum and exhibition were attended by representatives of enterprises, educational institutions, designers, suppliers of equipment.

Rector I.M. Gryshchenko and representatives of the educational investment-technology cluster of light industry in Kyiv took part in a meeting of leaders of regional clusters in Ukraine, which took place in Ukraine for the first time. Such a meeting will become a platform for acquaintance and cooperation of a large number of Ukrainian manufacturers of uniforms with their potential customers.

Speakers at the forum, who also attended the faculty and students of our university: the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Chizhikov GD, the chairman of the National sectoral partnership in light industry of Ukraine Golda Vinogradskaya, the director of the company SOFTORG Zverev Alexander, the rector of the KNUTD Gryshchenko І.М. and others.
