Bright, funny and unforgettable Vyshyvanka Day was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

About two hundred of students, educators, and staff dressed in embroidered clothes gathered at the entrance area of the University.

Guests have been taking pictures, danced, sang songs and admired each other's appearance.

On this day, workshops on embroidery, weaving wreaths, making paper flowers and a lecture on the theme: “Embroidery in the traditions of the Ukrainian people” were held.

It is pleasant to note that many young people attended the event, because every year more and more Ukrainians dress in national embroidery, which is the genetic code of our nation!
