On November 27, 2019, Student Self-Government representatives of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design participated in the All-Ukrainian Conference "Modern Challenges of Student Self-Government" held at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences.

At the conference the directions of student’s motivation for self-improvement, matter of digitization in student self-government council and decentralization of student self-government components were discussed. The conference continued with a panel discussion on the topic of: "Modern Challenges of Student Self-Government".

Head of Student Self-Government of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design - Lesiuta Nataliia and Secretary - Oleksandra Malyushenko congratulated Student Organization of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine on the 25th anniversary of the foundation and discussed further cooperation of student self-governing councils of Kyiv, shared ideas and experiences.

Ihor Budko, Chief Specialist of the Department of Modernization of the Content of Education and the Educational Process of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, addressed students with a welcoming speech, where he noted the significant role of student council in the higher education institutions activity of Ukraine.
