As part of the British Council's Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise Programme, the Rector of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design Ivan Gryshchenko, together with the University's project team members visited the University of Southampton, UK.

During the meeting with colleagues at the University of Southampton, the results of a two-year collaboration between universities were discussed and a draft follow-up plan for the British Council's five-year program initiative aimed at supporting and developing entrepreneurial skills, creative economics and improving English language skills for the students and teachers of KNUTD was developed.

Particular attention was paid to launching joint projects within other international programs of technical, scientific and educational support from donor organizations and foundations, such as Horizon 2020, Erasmus + and others. The question of possible internship of KNUTD scientists, young scientists and students at the modern technological base of the University of Southampton was looked into as well. 

Dr. Gryshchenko congratulated graduates of the world-renowned University with receiving a bachelor's degree, which coincided with the 100th anniversary celebration of Southampton University foundation.

KNUTD's project team has also acquainted with the Future Worlds startup accelerator activities at the University of Southampton, which helps nurture aspiring entrepreneurs and cutting-edge technologies through one-to-one support and its network of seasoned founders, investors.
