During the pandemic, all Ukrainian students are in distance education, but the active work of student self-government goes on. Thus, after watching a video message from the President of Ukraine, urging students to join the headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection, the heads of student self-governments in Kyiv contacted the capital's operational headquarters and inquired how they can help.

A volunteer team of 11 people was assembled, which included students of the National Technical University "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and National Aviation University. Students assisted at checkpoints for people entering Kyiv. They checked the temperature of drivers and passengers with contactless thermometers. All volunteers received personal protective equipment and transfers.
