Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted a significant event in the field of design – ІІ International Scientific and Practical Conference "TOPICAL ISSUES OF MODERN DESIGN" on April 23, 2020, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
In order to prevent diseases caused by COVID 19 coronavirus, the conference has been held remotely. The conference participants sent their video reports, which have been posted on the conference's YouTube channel, where everyone could read the reports, leave comments, feedback, ask questions, and more. This format of the conference was of great interest to the visitors, during the first days of the conference there have been about three thousand views on the channel, the participants sent more than 50 reports.
Rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Academician Ivan Gryshchenko addressed the participants in the online broadcasting with the welcoming speech and greeted everyone with the 90th Anniversary since the foundation of Kiev National University of Technologies and Design, which ranks 62nd place in TOP-100 of the world`s best fashion schools according to CEOWORLD Magazine. He wished the participants of the conference productive scholarly work and friendly scientific discussion.
