On May 12, 2020 V International conference for international students “Dialogue of Cultures in the European Education Space” was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design in the framework of the 90 th anniversary of KNUTD and as a part of Europe Day and Ukrainian Science Day festivities.
The conference was held by Foreign Languages Department, KNUTD Institute for Internationalization of Higher Education and Science. This remarkable meeting was organized within the framework of British Council “Creative Spark” project and with the support of “Emigrant radio” from Kyiv, Muslim Magomayev Azerbaijan Culture Center and Azerbaijan Writers’ Union.
The co-organizers of the conference are: Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University (Vinnytsia), Taurida National V. I. Vernadsky University, Kyiv National Linguistic University, Kryvyi Rih National University, Swiss Montreux Business School, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Ukrainian-American association of College Educators (USA), Academic Society of Michal Baludansky (Slovakia), Istanbul University Language Center, company “European Education in Ukraine”, Union of Azerbaijan Youth in Ukraine.
The conference participants expressed their gratitude to the University administration, the co-organizers, guests, international students and their research supervisors; noticed the potential of scientific development, attractiveness and competitiveness of international cooperation and training foreign students of KNUTD.

Communicating well across cultures and competing globally determine success; develop cultural awareness, critical thinking skills, and communicative proficiency essential to navigate in a complex global environment.
In general, more than 80 representatives of the academic staff, young scientists and students from KNUTD, co-sponsoring universities, different Ukrainian regions, many countries such as the USA, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, China, South Korea, Nigeria, Iraq, Algeria, and Turkey and partner firms presented their papers. The reports arouse the interest and active discussion of the participants and guests.
The conference organizers awarded the most active participants with honorary diplomas. Gurban Abbasov, People's Artist of Ukraine, sent the invitation to all participants to join the online concert of the Muslim Magomayev Azerbaijan Culture Center, on May 17, 2020.
