On February 25, 2021, an online meeting between the leaderships of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design headed by the rector prof. Ivan Gryshchenko and the Kielce University of Technology "Politechnika Świętokrzyska" headed by the rector prof. Zbigniew Koruba.
At the meeting KNUTD was also represented by the Vice-rector for Research and Innovation prof. Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko, Dean of the Design Faculty prof. Maryna Kolosnichenko, Director of IIHES Oleg Shevchenko, professor of the Department of Interior Design and Furniture prof. Vadym Abizov. The Polish partners: Vice-rector for Science and Development prof. Włodzimerz Makieła, Vice-Rector for Research and Cooperation with Entrepreneurs Prof. Marek Iwański and Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture prof. Grzegorz Świt were actively involved in the discussion.
Politechnika Świętokrzyska is located in the Polish city Kielce and is an important center for technical education in the region. Currently, with 5000 students KUT offers studies on 5 faculties, 19 fields of study and over 60 specializations. During the meeting, future cooperation was discussed and an Agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between universities was signed.
The signing of a cooperation agreement between universities helps create the conditions for the further development of international cooperation, the internationalization of education, the development of intercultural exchange, and the training of future highly qualified specialists.
