On April 8, the second stage of the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty of Light Industry Technology took place – the final scientific and practical videoconference. Members of the Sectoral Competition Commission, authors of competition works and their scientific supervisors from five institutions of higher education of Ukraine were invited to participate in the conference.

The event was opened and greeted by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design Hanushchak-Yefimenko Liudmyla Mykhailivna, who stressed the importance of such events and the high level of this year's work. Dean of the Faculty of Fashion Industry of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design Zubkova Lyudmyla Ivanivna joined the greeting.

For two hours, the young scientists defended their work and answered questions from members of the commission. The discussion was lively and interesting. In the end, on the basis of reviews and evaluation of scientific reports of the participants of the scientific-practical conference, the Sectoral Competition Commission decided to recognize the winners of the Competition and award: 1st degree diploma: Vesela Yu. V., author of the work "Means of protection", supervisor Assoc. Rubanka AI, Kyiv National University of Technology and Design;

2nd degree diploma: Dumanska LV and Trach AV, authors of the work "Wristband", supervisor Assoc. Lushchevska OM, Khmelnytsky National University and Kovalenko LV and Vorko KO, authors of the work "Scientific Step", supervisor Assoc. Zakora OV, Kherson National Technical University;

3rd degree diploma: Gudzenko OS, author of the work "Compression Deformation", supervisor prof. Slizkov AM, Kyiv National University of Technology and Design; Fedorenko LO, author of "Upcycling", supervisor Assoc. Babych AI, Kyiv National University of Technology and Design and Sokalska AA, author of "Flax", supervisor prof. Pelyk LV, Lviv University of Trade and Economics.

A number of scientific works were awarded diplomas in various nominations, in particular for the original design and technological solution - the work "Warm, fashionable", KNUTD, and for the consumer-oriented scientific approach - the work "Women's Clothing", KNTEU.
