April 26-29, 2021 National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" held the final round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers for the 2020/2021 academic year in the specializations "Applied geometry, engineering graphics and technical aesthetics". At the final scientific and practical conference on April 27, 2021, students of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD, the finalists of the Competition, made presentations on the topics of scientific work and had the opportunity to answer a wide range of questions from members of the Competition Commission.

According to the results of the Competition, our students became winners in the section "Technical aesthetics":

• The III-degree diploma was awarded to the students Olga Mareta, Ekaterina Prikhodko (Department of Interior and Furniture Design) for the scientific work "Features of the office premises design for people with musculoskeletal disorders." Scientific adviser -– Candidate of Arts, Associate Professor of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design O.V. Poliakova;
• The III-degree diplomas were awarded to students Petrosyan David, Ovdienko Taisiya (Department of Ergonomics and Design), scientific work "Improving the design of fashion industry products on the principles of ethical fashion." Scientific adviser - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Ergonomics and Design K.L. Pashkevich.

In the 2020-2021 academic year, students of the Faculty of Design and their scientific advisors (prof. Abyzov V.A., prof. Mikhailova R.D., prof. Krotova T.F., prof. Pashkevich K.L., prof. Kolesnik V.V., Associate professor Prikhodko-Kononenko I.A., associate professor Davydenko I.V., associate professor Dubrivna A.P., associate professor Rubanka A.I.) sent 11 scientific papers to various Competitions in specialties and specializations "Design. Fine arts, decorative arts, restoration" (KNUTD), "Technologies of light industry" (KNUTD), "Actual problems of inclusive education" (Lviv), "Technical aesthetics" (Kharkov) and received 5 prizes and diplomas of winners’ various degrees.

We congratulate the students of KNUTD, winners of the Competition in the specialty "Technical aesthetics" and wish them further scientific achievements!
