Three participants from the section of sports tourism KNUTD, namely, Irina Frolova (BTEsk -18), Ilya Naumenko (BShMK 1-19) and the head of the section, associate professor of interior design and furniture, Tatiana Bulhakova in the national team from the Kyiv Tourist Club took part in the All-Ukrainian competitions in mountain sports tourism.

As part of the competition from 29.04.2021 to 10.05.2021 was organized a campaign of the 2nd category of difficulty in the Carpathians. Despite this year's difficult weather conditions and a lot of snow in the mountains, the hike was successful with a radial exit to the pass PIM north and overcoming the passes Butyn-Tomnatyk, Ribs, Spitz. Six ropes were hung for descent and two for ascent, with a total length of 400 m.

During the hike, the group twice got into bad weather in the form of fog, rain, wet snow and strong wind. It was a real test of endurance and ability to work in any conditions, but the participants coped with all obstacles with dignity. We will wait for the results of the competition, which will become known after the submission of reports on trips to the Route Qualification Commission (RQC)
