On May 15, the Mikhail Bulgakov Museum, on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the writer's birth, premiered the play "Butterfly Agafokla". This theatrical project is a joint creative action of the Bulgakov Museum with the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD), the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design and the creative team of Mobius Art Projects. According to archival materials, one of the most interesting amateur performances was recreated, in which the Bulgakovs and their friends took part in Bucha on June 29, 1910.

Students of the KNUTD Faculty of Design performed costume variations for nine characters of the play. The museum has selected more than 20 costumes for the show, which is scheduled to be shown over 4 months. In addition, the museum exhibits sketches of costumes, authors - students of KNUTD and Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.
