On October 21, 2021, the XXII China Annual Conference for International Education (Expo) began its work. Organized in 2000, the conference has become a world-renowned educational platform in the field of international education with numerous missions, scientific briefings and consultations on policy, academic and information exchange, the creation of scientific and educational networks and the development of innovative educational programs.

This year's conference on "New Opportunities and Prospects for Building an Open and High-Quality Education System" began its work on an unprecedented scale, which was defined by: participation of more than 1,000 universities, 3,000 participants, simultaneous holding of more than 40 parallel sessions, participation of more than 40 countries more than 300 speakers and an huge online community.

On the first day of the conference, at the invitation of the Chinese side, as the guest of honour and the only representative from Ukraine, the online conference was attended by the Rector of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Professor Ivan GRYSHCHENKO. The Rector's 20-minute scientific report thoroughly highlighted the problems and prospects of globalization of the educational services market and focused on ways to unleash the new viability of international education in the face of challenges and opportunities to cultivate new growth points of high quality education.

Today, as the modernization of education intensifies international education is facing a new historical opportunity to fully unleash its great potential. The areas that attract the most attention in improving the quality of globalization of education today are global education management, mobility of educational resources and high-level research cooperation. It is time for educators around the world to adapt to this rapidly evolving environment, explore more vigorous drivers for quality growth, and remain committed to expanding channels and space to build a new foundation for international cooperation and sharing experiences.

Therefore, continuing to take an active part in building a successful strategic partnership between Ukraine and China, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design sincerely wishes all participants of the XXII China Annual Conference for International Education (Expo) for productive work, significant scientific achievements and creative education plans for the decent representatives generations.
