KyivTexFashion 2021

 

On October 21, 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's Independence, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference of Textile and Fashion Technologies "KyivTex & Fashion" took place. The conference is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design with the participation of Khmelnytsky National University and Kherson National Technical University (Ukraine), State University Akaki Tsereteli (Georgia) and Tirana Polytechnic University (Albania).

The conference was opened by Lyudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of KNUTD, Professor, Doctor of Economic.

 

 

 

She pointed out that  the conference is important like an opportunity to share scientific achievements in the field of textile and light industry, as well as practical experience in applying innovative developments. Ludmila Zubkova, Dean of the Faculty of Fashion Industry of KNUTD, also greeted the guests.

Also congratulated on the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's independence: Salih Tashpulatov (Vice-Rector for International Relations of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Uzbekistan), Daiva Mikuchionene (Professor of Kaunas University of Technology, Republic of Lithuania), Fawzi Sherifi (Professor Mi) , Alla Slavinska (Head of the Department of Technology and Design of Garments of Khmelnytsky National University) and Viktor Demyanyuk (Director of Rivne College of Economics and Technology).

The event was also attended by such old friends of the university as Lyudmila Ivanova (director of Dana-moda LLC), Tetyana Abramova (RITO Fashion House LLC), Oleksandr Borodynia (president of the Ukrshkirvzuttyaprom League of Ukrainian Industrialists).

 

 

 

Interesting presentations were given by foreign guests: prof. Volodymyr Baizyk (Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic), Diego Jacketti (Polyarte Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Italy) and prof. Tatiana Spahiu (Tirana Polytechnic University, Albania).

Participants and guests of the conference heard and discussed the reports of Kateryna Smykalo (Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka), Iryna Daus (LLC "Sewing Equipment Center"), Golda Vynogradska (Chairman of the National Industry Partnership in Light Industry Fashion Globus Ukraine), a representative of the knitwear company 42 day »Tatiana Nichiporenko. A number of reports were presented by graduate students and scientists of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, which reflected all the diversity of scientific fields: from "Design of women's shoes" and "Design of modern women's clothing with embroidery" to the development of software for light industry. Within the conference, a panel discussion was held with representatives of industry, which discussed the prospects for the development of educational programs for bachelors, masters and PhD in specialty 182 - light industry technology and made constructive decisions to improve them.
