On October 21, 2021, the General Meeting of the Council of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (NUAU) took place in the Central House of Artists.

At the request of the Bureau of the Section of Criticism and Study of Art of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine its chairman - Doctor of Arts, Professor O.O. Rohotchenko presented and recommended the candidacies of scientists in the field of art and design of the Faculty of Design for joining the members of the section:

• Kolosnichenko M.V., Dr.Eng., Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Design,
• Kolisnyk О.V., Dr. of Philos. Sciences, Professor of Department of Drawing and Painting,
• Krotova Т.F., Dr. of Arts, Professor of Department of Artistic Designing of Costume,
• Ostapenko N.V., Dr.Eng., Professor, Head of Department of ergonomics and design,
• Pashkevych K.L., Dr.Eng., Professor of Department of ergonomics and design,
• Chuprina N.V., Dr. of Arts, Professor of Department of Artistic Designing of Costume.

As an ancient artistic tradition and according to the Statute of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, from October 8 to 25, the Central House of Artists hosted an exhibition of works by artists and discussions of works by art critics - candidates for admission to the National Union of Artists.

Art researches published by representatives of the Faculty of Design were presented at the exhibition by a separate stand and aroused the interest of members of the Board of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and chairmen of regional and city regional organizations of the Union.
