On October 21, 2021, the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted a round table with stakeholders from among employers and academicians. The meeting was initiated by the Faculty of Fashion Industry in the persons of Dean Lyudmila Zubkova and the guarantors of Bachelor`s, Master`s, and Ph.D. educational programs in the following specialties: 182 Consumer Industry Technologies, 015 Vocational Education and 132 Materials Science. The discussion of the goals and learning outcomes stated in educational programs was the main purpose of the round table. Stakeholders expressed their desire to support an improvement of the practical component of the training by involving students in solving scientific and applied problems, the need to periodically review the list of educational components that ensure the competencies and program results stated in educational programs. The conformity of the program results of educational programs of the corresponding qualification level to the requirements of the national framework of qualifications was analyzed.

In terms of improving practical training, the feasibility of dual education in higher education institutions, developing a mechanism of its implementation, finding motivational tools and risk assessment by both higher education institutions and employers was also considered.

The Dean, Heads of departments, and guarantors of educational programs are grateful to their strategic partners in educational activities for their attention, active position, and support in improving the educational programs at the Faculty of Fashion Industry.
