Project "Academic Integrity and Quality Initiative (Academic IQ)"

Within the framework of the project "Academic Integrity and Quality Initiative (Academic IQ)" Vice-rector, prof. Oksana Morgulets, Head of the Center for Quality Management of Educational Activities, assoc. prof. Igor Panamarenko and Head of the Department of Doctorate and Postgraduate Studies, assoc. prof.  Svitlana Arabuli took part in the third training "Data interpretation for qualitative changes".

The four-day training took place from 10 to 19 November 2021.

Project speakers David Rettinger (University of Mary Washington, USA), Tricia Bertram Gallant (University of California, San Diego, USA) and Amanda McKenzie (University of Waterloo, Canada) during three training sessions expanded the understanding of university representatives about the needs for interinstitutional surveys and effectiveness interpretation of data obtained from such surveys. During the training, the experts also drew attention to the need to identify aspects requiring improvement and find ways to strengthen policies in the system of academic integrity and quality of education.

During the trainings, practical exercises were conducted using the “Traffic Light” tool or the “Academic Integrity Matrix” with the definition of the situation at the university on certain aspects of academic integrity and the quality of education based on the results of surveys of students and teachers of KNUTD in 2021.
