On January 18, 2022, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and China, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China hosted a solemn reception of representatives of Chinese and Ukrainian diplomacy, politics, business and educational elite. At the official invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong, the event was attended by the Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design Ivan Gryshchenko.

The honored guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibits and photos of the presentation exhibition "New Epoch, New Perspectives", which highlighted the 30-year path of strengthening Ukrainian-Chinese diplomatic relations.

Ambassador Fan Xianrong's words were sincere and touching: "Ukraine is a friend and partner of China. The peoples of the two states have always been friendly to each other. We have all the conditions to achieve even greater success in the development of bilateral relations. We have great prospects for Sino-Ukrainian ties now. "

The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Mr. Nemchinov solemnly read a letter from the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal: “All 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Ukrainian-Chinese relations have been developing in stable, mutually beneficial cooperation, strategic partnership between our countries ".

The basis of such coordinated cooperation between the two countries is political mutual trust and respect, which is constantly developing on the basis of mutually beneficial relations in all areas, including education and science. In this context, the Ukrainian-Chinese project between KNUTD and Qilu University of Technology, implemented on the initiative of the rector of our University Ivan Gryshchenko, is a model for Ukrainian universities to export educational services outside of Ukraine. Such a generous contribution to the treasury of symbolic relations with China is highly appreciated by the Chinese side. The Chinese “JOURNAL OF WORLD EDUCATION” published a scientific article by Ivan Mikhailovich: "The Historical Mission of Talent Education. Study of the way of transformation and development of business universities. Analysis of the relationship between the development of education and the competitiveness of the state ".

Today, Ukraine and China are confidently developing diplomatic, economic, humanitarian and cultural ties, actively cooperating in investment, agriculture, innovation, energy, science, technology and education, jointly confronting global challenges, and have great potential for further deepening diverse scientific activities and new successes.
