On January 26, 2022, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted celebrations on the occasion of awarding master’s degrees to 2021 graduates. The diploma awarding is a solemn, unforgettable moment for everyone. 490 graduates with a master’s degree in various specialties have completed their studies at their alma mater, which provided modern knowledge and skills, created conditions for a happy future for young professionals.
According to the European tradition, the diploma of the capital’s national university, a leading university in the field of fashion and design industry, is awarded in ceremonial university clothes – gowns and graduation hats. Our graduates, who just yesterday were undergraduates, wear such ceremonial dress on the day of graduation. This ancient European tradition makes the ceremony especially solemn and the graduates are serious and proud of their titles.
Ivan Hryshchenko, Rector of the University, Professor, Doctor of Economics, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, warmly and sincerely congratulated the graduates. Ivan Mykhailovych pointed out that we bring to the world part of the most expensive human capital assets, both of the university and of the whole Ukrainian society – young, creatively trained professionals who integrate into the real economy, and the future of Ukraine, and not only Ukraine, will depend on them.

We all hope that you will love your alma mater to the innermost of your heart, as you love your parents and your Motherland, you will be proud of your university and support it in the future. We will be very grateful if you come to your alma mater and your teachers who have given you a part of their heart and love.
The Rector also thanked the academic staff of the university, who have been creating appropriate educational conditions for many years, and awarded diplomas to the best graduates.
Tetiana Paraschak (Faculty of Fashion Industry) and Vladyslav Sherstnov (Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies) spoke with words of gratitude on behalf of the graduates with a master’s degree. They thanked the rector and professors for their years of study, knowledge, and skills acquired in one of the best design universities of Ukraine and assured them that they will keep warm and bright memories of their student years.
Dear graduates, please accept our congratulations, we wish you not to lose the optimism of life and the passion that accompanied you throughout all your years of study.
