The academic staff members of the Faculty of Design of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design often become experts and jurors of competitions at various levels. For four years in a row, the jury of the National Best Toy Contest, held as part of the International Trade Fair of Children’s Goods BABY EXPO, has invited representatives of the University. On February 11, 2022, Associate Professors of the Department of Ergonomics and Design, Iryna Prykhodko-Kononenko and Olena Gerasymenko, assessed the works and selected the winners among a lot of works presented at the competition: toys for learning and development, board games, action and technical toys, constructors, gaming equipment from domestic manufacturers. The purpose of the competition is to assist Ukrainian manufacturers in promoting reliable children’s game products, improving their quality, and preserving national traditions.
