On May 11-13, 2022, professors of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design at the Faculty of Fashion Industry, namely Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Tetiana Derkach and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Yana Shuhailo took part in the 8th Stockholm International Conference of Research in Vocational Education and Training. The conference organized in 2012 by the VETYL (Vocational Education and Training) research group is a forum for discussing and disseminating the latest research in vocational education and training (VET).
The organizers of the conference consider cooperation between researchers from different countries and fields of vocational education as a necessary condition for harmonizing education, transparency, and mobility within Europe. VET covers a wide range of contents, different professional fields, and diverse traditions of knowledge. The development of vocational education and training is the basis for ensuring the economic development of countries and improving social welfare.
We are sincerely grateful to Carina Carlhed Ydhag, the Head of the Department of Education of Stockholm University, and Lázaro Moreno Herrera, Professor and scientific leader of the VETYL research group, for this opportunity.
We are looking forward to furthering cooperation with Stockholm University.
