On May 27, 2022, the second meeting between representatives of Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg/DHBW, Stuttgart, Germany) and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took place.
DHBW University was represented by Professors Kay Berkling (DHBW Karlsruhe) and Wolf Burger (DHBW Stuttgart). The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector, Professor Volodymyr Statsenko, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies, Professor Igor Panasiuk, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics, Professor Borys Zlotenko, and Professor Iryna Shvedchikova.
Professor Kay Berkling spoke about the peculiarities of training students in computer engineering and computer science at DHBW University. She introduced the programs of the German government to support educators and students of Ukraine. Professor Kay Berkling invited KNUTD professors and students to participate in joint non-formal education and academic mobility programs.
The participants of the meeting agreed on further concrete steps for the implementation of non-formal education and virtual mobility programs for students of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics, specialty 123 “Computer Engineering”.
Agreements have been reached on the execution of relevant documents and subsequent online meetings.
