On June 28, 2022, with the official support of the President of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr ZELENSKY, the International Conference on the launch of the Twining project of cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom in the field of education and science took place. More than two hundred representatives attended the event from both countries. Our international partner “Cormack Consultancy Group” and “Universities UK” is an organization that advocates for the interests of universities in the United Kingdom organized the conference.

 H.E. Ms. Melinda SIMMONS, British Ambassador to Ukraine, H.E. Mr.  Vadym PRYSTAIKO, Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK, and Ms.Olga BUDNYK, Counsellor-Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on the Fund of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference.

During the ceremony, the rectors of 25 Ukrainian and British universities signed cooperation agreements. Among the interested international fraternities, only our university had the honour to deliver a welcoming speech and present the achievements of the university that most impressed the conference organizers. On behalf of the rector of KNUTD prof. Mr. Ivan GRYSHCHENKO, the presentation of our university was presented by  Mr. Oleg SHEVCHENKO, and an additional joint agreement on cooperation between the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design and Sheffield Hall University was signed by Vice-Rector Ms. Oksana MORGULETS.

Mr. James RICHARDSON, Director of Global Development and Partnerships at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, presented the short-term and long-term joint project plan to be implemented in the coming years.
