On July 11, 2022, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet, met with the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Mr. Jerzy Duszyński, at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the participation of the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Dniprov, Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiy Babak, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anatoliy Zahorodniy, President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Kremen, scientists, and rectors of the leading institutions of higher education.

They discussed supporting Ukrainian scientists and strengthening cooperation with the academic community, increasing Ukraine’s participation in European research programs, expanding cooperation in scientific and technological support of the security and defense sphere, cooperation in professional and scientific and technical activities between educational institutions, scientific institutions and organizations of Ukraine and Poland.
