On August 18, 2022, the annual International August Pedagogical Scientific and Practical Conference "Education, educators – Unbreakable in war" took place. One of the main events of all educators in the conditions of martial law takes place in the format of a plenary meeting in the educational institution of the hero city of Buchа, which, despite active hostilities, survived.

The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Serhiy Shkarlet, opened the International August Pedagogical Scientific and Practical Conference, which was held at 12 locations in thematic directions.

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in the work of the location "Science and Innovation: Effective Research for Safe Education" with the participation of heads of higher education institutions, vice-rectors for scientific work.

The main goal of the location is to increase the level of public awareness in Ukraine of the important role of science in the conditions of martial law and in the post-war period, as noted by Oleksiy Shkuratov, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for European Integration. And also find answers to questions:

What difficulties does science face under martial law?

What is the role of science and innovations for the development of education, support of the economy during martial law?

How to encourage national solidarity, in particular business, in the interests of joint use of scientific achievements by various stakeholders?

How to actualize the need to use the achievements of science for the recovery and development of the Ukraine’s economy?

How to create conditions and tools for establishing scientific communication in Ukraine and abroad?
