Despite the war, students of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy of KNUTD not only study, but also continue to be actively involved in scientific work. The results of the students' scientific research in domestic and foreign publications, as well as present them at international and all-Ukrainian conferences, seminars and forums.
On October 27-28, 2022, master's and postgraduate students of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy took part the 10th scientific-practical conference with international participation of the School of Young Scientists "Science and Modern Pharmaceutical Production", which was held online by the Farmak JSC.
At this conference, students of the department presented their own scientific achievements related to the development of new medicines for the needs of the Armed Forces in the conditions of military operations. Vadym Lisovyi and Artem Kharchenko (scientific supervisor, D.Sc., associate professor Volodymyr Bessarabov) presented the work on the topic "Development of the technology of a wound-healing medicinal product for use in the field conditions of military quartering."
Viktoriia Lyzhniuk and Viktor Kostyuk (scientific supervisor, Ph.D., associate professor Halyna Kuzmina) presented the work on the topic "Development of the technology of a highly soluble painkiller for the military's tactical first aid kit."
Karyna Savchenko and Iryna Pashchenko (scientific supervisor, Ph.D. Hanna Kharytonenko) gave a report on the topic "Antihistamine drug with anti-inflammatory properties for the elderly and senile".
Student Yuliya Fedorenko, who studies at the Department of Industrial Pharmacy and the Department of Applied Ecology, Technology of Polymers and Chemical Fibers, presented the joint development of both departments under the supervision of Doctor of Pharmacy, Professor of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy Vladyslav Strashnyi, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Ecology, Technology of Polymers and Chemical Fibers, Olena Ishchenko. The topic of the work is "Development of the technology of a hydrogel medical product with pain-relieving properties."
The expert commission of the conference recognized the works of all our students as the best, and the organizer of the conference, Farmak JSC, awarded the students diplomas of I, II and III degrees and valuable gifts.
We congratulate the students of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies on their successful results and wish them further victories on the scientific front of Ukraine.
