Participants of the academic mobility program between KNUTD and the University of Birmingham (Great Britain), student Ilona Mandyradzhy and 2022 graduate of the Department of Art and Fashion Design of KNUTD Faculty of Design Anastasiia Halushko received grants from the BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL to study and create their own 2022-2023 fashion collections.

British Fashion Council – BFC-Scholars annually holds a competition with the aim of financial support for talented students for training and implementation of creative projects. Scholarships are offered to those enrolled in master's or bachelor's degree programs at BFC member colleges.

In August 2022, our gifted Ukrainian designers submitted grant applications to the BFC, in which they described the vision of their professional development, the concept of a creative project and the specifics of choosing an audience segment for its implementation, their vision of the future in the development of ecological fashion, and sent their portfolios. The applications of the laureates were reviewed by a highly respected jury, which included famous British designers of clothing and accessories, the best stylists of Great Britain, specialists in ecological developments, and representatives of Vogue magazine, and the winners were chosen. In addition to grants, scholarship holders received access to lectures and master classes by the leading designers in Great Britain.
