"Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the purpose of developing and deepening mutual ties in the field of education and science, as well as exchanging experience in the social and cultural sphere."
Symbolically, on the day of the World Science Day for Peace and Development, November 10, 2022, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the rectors of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Volodymyr Bugrov and Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design Ivan Gryshchenko.
The signing of the Memorandum will open new avenues for further cooperation in the field of education and science and will be the beginning of many good works in academic fields between higher education institutions.
In accordance with the Memorandum, the parties agreed to promote the development of higher educational institutions in the educational, research, and innovation spheres using available intellectual resources, namely:
in educational activities - ensuring the development of the structure and content of educational training and forms of effective organization of the educational process; exchange of methodological developments; conducting joint scientific and methodical seminars on current problems of university education; implementation of projects related to joint publishing of educational and scientific-methodical products;
in scientific and research activities – preparation of joint scientific and research projects and joint participation in national and international competitions, programs, funds; scientific information exchange organizations; joint organization of international scientific conferences; cooperation of museums of partner universities; publication of the results of the scientific work of scientific, scientific-pedagogical and other workers in scientific professional publications, established by the Parties, free of charge;
in innovative activities - joint development of infrastructure, support of innovative activities in partner universities; joint implementation of a set of activities aimed at expanding fundamental, search and applied research, technology transfer, commercialization of scientific research; cooperation of science parks, educational and scientific clusters of partner universities.
Rector of KNUTD Ivan Gryshchenko noted that the Memorandum will also give a new impetus to the development of cooperation between student, scientific and other public organizations for the improvement of activities, exchange of experience, solving youth problems, organization of scientific, educational and cultural and sports life.
