Results of the 3rd All-Ukrainian Conference of Higher Education Graduates and Young Scientists "Innovation in Education, Science and Business: Challenges and Opportunities"

Traditionally, on November 17, on the day of the International Student Day, the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, hosts an All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Higher Education Graduates and Young Scientists: "Innovation in Education, Science and Business: Challenges and Opportunities". The purpose of the conference is the exchange of scientific achievements and practical experience of applying innovative developments in education, business and science by student scientific youth, business.

Despite the morning air alarm, the lack of electricity in the regions of Ukraine, but with the observance of all safety conditions, the work of the conference took place fruitfully in a mixed format. It was extremely pleasant to welcome to our university the President of the European Institute of Continuing Education from the Slovak Republic, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Mr. Josef Zatko, who, despite the full-scale war with the russian federation, personally welcomed the participants of the conference.

This year, the conference was co-organized by leading institutions of higher education in Ukraine, Slovakia and Poland, including: the Danube University in Sladkovichevo (Slovak Republic), the European Institute of Continuing Education (Slovak Republic), the Higher School of Business in Dombrowa Gurnic (Republic of Poland), the Institute of International of relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Sumy National Agrarian University, Uzhgorod National Economic University, Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture, Lviv University of Trade and Economics, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Semyon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Odesa Law Academy National University, National Academy of Management, Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, Educational Investment and Technology Cluster of Light Industry and Scientific Society of Students and Postgraduates of Kyiv National University of Technologies and design.

On behalf of the Rector of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology Ivan Gryshchenko, the conference was opened by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of KNUTD, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences – Lyudmila Hanushchak-Yefimenko.

Ms. Lyudmila congratulated all the participants of the conference, thanked everyone who was able to join the work in such a difficult time and noted that: "Today, more than ever, it is important to know that the development of youth science and the support of the educational front is about citizenship, about our contribution to the struggle with the aggressor. In addition, it is a solid foundation for future changes and the post-war transformation of Ukraine into a developed and stable country".

The work of the conference included thematic directions by platforms:

Innovation in education for the development of Ukraine in the conditions of post-war recovery.

Innovation in science: state and challenges in wartime conditions.

Innovation in business: realities in the conditions of war, and summing up the results of the competition of startup projects "BEST STARTUP KNUTD 2022".

 

On behalf of the Rector of the Higher School of Business in Dombrow Gurnic, Republic of Poland, from the academic community and from himself, vice-rector Rafał Rębilas conveyed congratulations.

As part of the conference, the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Professor of the Department of Criminology of the National University "Odesa Law Academy", spoke with a welcome speech and motivational wishes for creative effort and success, productive commercialization of the formed startup projects, and a peaceful sky for all conference participants. doctor of legal sciences - Olesya Vashchuk.

Peter PLAVČAN - Rector of the Danube University in Sladkovichevo, Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic (in the period 2016-2017) expressed extraordinary support and congratulations for the development of student youth science in such a difficult time and with faith in the victory of Ukraine.

The speeches at the plenary meeting of long-term partners of the university from educational institutions of Ukraine and domestic business were inspiring for the youth, namely:

Serhii Yerokhin – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Rector of the National Academy of Management;

Petro Kutsyk – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Rector of the Lviv University of Trade and Economics;

Oleksiy Zhidkov – Doctor of Philosophy, Director of BB PROM LLC;

Victoria Margasova - Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Vice-rector for Scientific Work of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University;

Yury Danko – Doctor of economic sciences, Professor, Vice-rector for Scientific Work of the Sumy National Agrarian University;

Iryna Azaman – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of the Odesa State Academy of Construction and Architecture;

Olena Ptashchenko – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Journalism of Semyon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics;

Vitaly Serzhanov – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Uzhhorod National University of Economics;

Victoria Gotra – Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Deputy Dean for Scientific Work of the Uzhhorod National University of Economics;

Maryna Khmary – PhD in Economics, vice president of the Ukrainian Association of Ukrainian Internationals, the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University and others.

As part of the work of the conference platforms, the winners of the startup project competition in the nomination "BEST STARTUP KNUTD 2022" were announced and presented 32 startups of students Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and other higher education institutions of Ukraine were presented for open voting. Among them, through open voting (total 1777 votes), seven start-up projects were selected for evaluation by the expert commission, which received the largest number of votes, and the best of them were determined accordingly.

This year's winners were actual applied developments for the protection of military and civilians during hostilities. We thank student science for development and motivation:

Third place – Startup Project 12. "SHIELDING PAINT FOR PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION".

The winner in the nomination "For the Best Innovative Development" according to the voting results was a joint startup project of students of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and the National Aviation University, students of the Semyon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.

At the end of the plenary session, Vice-Rector Lyudmila Hanushchak-Efimenko thanked all the participants, once again congratulated the students on their day, and on behalf of the rector, Academician Ivan Gryshchenko, presented a sweet gift.

As part of the work of the conference platforms: "Innovation in Education and Science: State and Challenges in Wartime Conditions and Innovation in Business: Realities in Wartime Conditions." Current student reports covering various issues are presented: from the trends in the development of the information technology market to the design and development of adaptive clothing for patients at the stage of rehabilitation after COVID-19 and the war with the russian federation, to the study of global problems and prospects for the development of various branches of the Ukrainian economy in war conditions and in the context of post-war reconstruction, etc.

The All-Ukrainian conference of Higher Education Graduates and Young Scientists "Innovation in Education, Science and Business: Challenges and Opportunities" is a platform for the development of the startup movement at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, which is gaining momentum every year, motivating active innovative youth with project proposals for business to development, confirming the entrepreneurial format of the university in action, where the cooperation of the state, science, education and business is a synergistic quadrangle of knowledge of innovative development.
