The Department of Philology and Translation of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies of KNUTD regularly holds meetings with stakeholders to improve educational and professional programs with the aim of increasing the practical focus of training competitive future specialists.

On behalf of the university, the Director of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor TetIana Vlasiuk, members of working groups for the development of educational and professional programs, scientific and pedagogical staff of the department and students of higher education studying under these educational and professional programs took part in the events.

One such meeting was held at the Department of Philology and Translation on November 15, 2022. Within the framework of the round table with stakeholders from the academic community, employers and students, a public discussion of the educational and professional program "English Language: Translation in Business Communications", specialty 035 "Philology", bachelor educational level, took place.

The Head of the department, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Yulia Bondarchuk, who is the guarantor of the educational and professional program, was the moderator of the round table.

Stakeholders from the academic community took part in the discussion, that is scientific and pedagogical staff of higher education institutions of Ukraine, which train specialists in specialty 035 "Philology":

Larysa Kolodina, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation of the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine;

Lidia Oliinyk, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory, Practice and Translation of the German Language of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute";

Valentyna Yakuba, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Theory, Practice and Translation of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University;

Liudmyla Vasylchuk, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Kyiv National Linguistic University.

On November 17, 2022, the Department of Philology and Translation hosted the second round table with a public discussion of the educational and professional program "Secondary Education: English Language and Literature", specialty 014 "Secondary Education", bachelor educational level.

The guarantor of the educational and professional program, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Yana Absaliamova was the moderator of the round table.

Stakeholders from the academic community took part in the discussion, that is scientific and pedagogical staff of higher education institutions of Ukraine, which train specialists in specialty 014 "Secondary education":

Valentyna Verteletska, Deputy Director of specialized school of I-III degrees with in-depth study of foreign languages No. 329 "Logos" named after Heorhiy Gongadze, methodist teacher.

The guarantors made an opening speech to the participants, emphasizing the importance of involving stakeholders in the development of educational and professional programs in order to improve their content in accordance with the needs of the modern labor market, and introduced the features of educational and professional programs, the main goals and educational components that contribute to the formation of general and professional competences, as well as to the achievement of program learning outcomes, to the stakeholders.

Colleagues shared their own experience of training specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine and, together with employers, generally favorably evaluated the content of educational and professional programs, as well as provided suggestions regarding the constituent educational components and the need to deepen the study of certain topics in order to improve the quality of training specialists.

Based on the results of the online meetings, a number of suggestions from stakeholders regarding the improvement of the educational and professional program "English Language: Translation in Business Communications" at the bachelor's level of higher education were agreed upon, which will be taken into account, and relevant decisions were made.
