On November 23, 2022, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Round Table «Basic Human and Citizen Rights in Globalization» was held at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.

This scientific and communicative event is held by the Department of Private and Public Law of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Modern Technologies every year during the All-Ukrainian Law Week. However, this year, taking into account significant adjustments in all spheres of public life throughout the territory of Ukraine, which are related to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, the round table was held in advance.

During the discussion, attention was focused on the theory and history of the development of human rights in Ukraine and foreign countries, the legal provision of the realization of human rights and the prospects for their improvement, the role and significance of the provision of human rights in the conditions of the development of the rule of law.

The scientific and practical round table was attended by legal scholars of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, the National Academy of Internal Affairs, the Center for Military and Strategic Studies of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, the Belotserkiv National Agrarian University, the University of Customs and Finance.

Among the participants of this important event were graduate students of the Department of Private and Public Law of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (M.V. Vozniy, V.V. Dasyuk, A.L. Hryshchenko, I.V. Polat), as well as graduate students of the International University of Business and Law (Dnipro) and the International Humanitarian University (Odesa).

Students of the Department of Private and Public Law of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design also joined the discussion of topical issues in the field of human rights implementation.

During the event, an agreement was reached on the signing of an agreement on interdepartmental cooperation between the Department of Private and Public Law of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design and the Department of Constitutional Law and Human Rights of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.

The participants of the scientific and practical round table decided instead of the round table during the All-Ukrainian Law Week in 2023 to introduce the annual All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference «Problems of realization of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of legal subjects in Ukraine».
