On November 25, 2022, a meeting of employees of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design with representatives of the SoftServe company took place via video conference. The meeting was attended by Volodymyr Statsenko, vice-rector of KNUTD for digital transformation, Ihor Panasyuk, director of NNIIIIT, head of the department КІЕМ Borys Zlotenko, educational manager of SoftServe company Maria Rashkevich, and marketer of SoftServe company Roman Kurylenko.

SoftServe is a Ukrainian IT-company working in the field of software development and consulting services. The main offices of the company are located in Lviv and Austin (Texas, USA), more than 10,000 employees work in the company's European and American offices. Softserv is one of the largest software development companies in Central and Eastern Europe and one of the three largest outsourcing companies in Ukraine.

During the meeting, ways to improve the professional training of specialists in the field of information technologies were considered, taking into account the experience of leading companies that are successful in the domestic and global labor markets. In this regard, an agreement was reached on further joint discussion of the educational and professional program "Computer Systems and Networks" with the aim of its improvement.

Issues related to dual, nonformal and informal education were also raised, in particular, the creation of opportunities for students of KNUTD to study in the process of professional activity directly at the workplaces of the SoftServe company.

As a result of the meeting, the forms and directions of training of computer engineering specialists at KNUTD together with the SoftServe company were outlined, including student and teacher training.
