On November 18, 22 and 24, 2022, the defense of master's theses of full-time and part-time students took place at the Department of Industrial Pharmacy. This year, the defense was held in the classrooms of the Department in a mixed mode using modern information and communication technologies. Students who were forced to go abroad due to the war defended their works online and proved that nothing stands in the way of obtaining a master's degree.

The scientific work of undergraduates was evaluated by the state examination commission, which included professional specialists from the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, namely Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Volodymyr BESSARABOV, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Galyna KUZMINA, PhD in Pharmacy, Associate Professor Olena SALIY. The chairman of the state examination commission was the Head of the Department of spectrochemical research of the L.M. Lytvynenko Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Senior researcher, PhD in Chemistry Andriy REDKO. Secretary of the state examination commission was  PhD in Biology Hanna KHARYTONENKO. The dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Olga BAULA was also on defense.

At the defense, undergraduates of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy showed that, despite the difficult conditions during their studies (quarantine restrictions, and now wartime), all of them, under the reliable guidance of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department, performed   scientific work at a high level.

The researches presented for defense were distinguished by the relevance of the topic, the novelty of the author's developments, as well as the practical orientation, which caused a lively discussion and interesting questions from the chairman and members of the examination commission. Undergraduates gave reasoned and meaningful answers to each of the questions, which once again demonstrated the high level of professional training.
