On November 30, 2022, a working meeting of a hybrid format was held for higher education applicants of the third educational and scientific level of different years of study under the educational and scientific program “Chemical Technologies and Engineering”, specialty 161 Chemical Technologies and Engineering, and their academic supervisors, with the guarantor of the educational and scientific program Doctor of Engineering Science, Professor Yuriy Budash. At the meeting, the results of the educational and scientific activities of PhD students for 2022, the issues of quality assurance for the training of applicants, and directions for the development of the educational and scientific program were discussed. The main tasks for applicants for the next semester of the academic year were also defined.
The head of the Department of Applied Ecology, Technology of Polymers and Chemical Fibers of KNUTD, Professor Viktoriia Plavan spoke before the audience, she presented a detailed report on the results of the Department’s scientific and technical activities for 2022, outlined new challenges and opportunities for PhD students during their studies in the period of war in Ukraine.
The professor of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, Doctor of Engineering Science, Professor Volodymyr Bessarabov, the guarantor of the educational and scientific program for PhDs in the specialty 226 Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, also addressed the audience. V. Bessarabov talked about his experience of participating in the accreditation of the educational and scientific program and gave his recommendations on increasing the publishing activity of PhD students and young scientists. Separately, he pointed out the need to adhere to the Integrity Policy in the field of education, in particular, when preparing dissertations.
Based on the results of the meeting, a decision was made regarding the need to intensify scientific research, systematize and publish the obtained results promptly; active participation in the University’s scientific and educational events.
