From November 13 to 21, 2022, the professor of the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. Iryna Shvedchykova visited the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) at the invitation of the head of the Department of Electric Power Engineering, prof. Michal Kolcun. The purpose of the business trip was to carry out joint tasks within the framework of the Ukrainian-Slovak scientific and research project “Energy management improvement of hybrid photovoltaic systems of local objects with storage batteries” (scientific advisor – prof. I. Shvedchykova).

During her visit to the Technical University of Košice, I. Shvedchykova learned about the laboratories of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, took part in joint measurements of the generation of photovoltaic modules, and the methodology for researching the efficiency of solar generation was also agreed upon. Based on the results of the working meeting with Slovak partners, directions for further scientific research were adjusted, including writing joint publications, participation in international conferences, and prospects for further cooperation in scientific activities were defined.
