On December 7, 2022, an important artistic event took place - the opening of the art exhibition "Painting. Life" of the famous Ukrainian artist, Assistant Professor of the Department of Digital Art, scientist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Oleksandra Basanets. A round table on the topic "Art during the war" was held on the platform of the Media Center DGRSDM. Speakers of the round table: Anatoly Dron - diplomat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, full member of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine; Oleksandra Basanets - Associate Professor of the department of digital art of KNUTD; Antonina Dubrivna - Head of the Digital Art Department of KNUTD, PhD, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; Ihor Melnychuk - Honored Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Painting and Composition of NAFAA; Olena Melnychenko - teacher of KGAL named after T. Shevchenko; Svitlana Olyanina - Head of the Graphics Department of NTUU KPI named after I. Sikorskyi, Doctor of Art History, Professor; Yuriy Basanets - Ukrainian painter, a senior lecturer at the Department of Digital Art of KNUTD. The event took place in a combined format and all art connoisseurs could join the discussion.

Despite the difficult challenges of today, artists should realize their responsibility for the affirmation of Ukrainian culture and become real fighters of the artistic front. When the cannons are fired, the muses are not silent.
