On November 17, 2022, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was presented by the Faculty of Arts and Fashion at the meeting of the AUTEX General Assembly, which took place online at “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania. On behalf of the rector of the University, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the NAES of Ukraine Ivan Gryshchenko, the University was presented by the representative of KNUTD in the AUTEX Association Assoc. Prof. Svitlana Arabuli and Prof. Olena Kyzymchuk. By decision of the AUTEX General Assembly, Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design became a member of the Association.

AUTEX is a worldwide network of textile universities, which was founded in 1994 and currently has 41 members from 28 countries in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and Australia. The association brings together universities to support and promote textile education and research worldwide.

The scientific and educational community of KNUTD received the opportunity to join the “textile” world community and the opportunity to publish the results of their scientific research in the AUTEX RESEARCH JOURNAL, indexed in the Scopus (Q2, Impact factor = 1.944).
