This year, despite the extremely difficult circumstances and difficult conditions that our country is experiencing today, scientific and pedagogical workers of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, thanks to the comprehensive support of the rector of the University, Academician Ivan Gryshchenko, not only did not suspend but also significantly intensified international project activities and international academic mobility of teachers and students.
In particular, at the Faculty of Management and Business Design, more than 20 applications for the implementation of the ERASMUS+ KA 1 and KA 2 programs were submitted this year, including 17 applications with partner universities from 11 European countries regarding the academic mobility of students and teachers and 5 partner applications in cooperation with organizations and institutions, including an application for the Alliance for Intercontinental Innovations. With the organizational support of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activity, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Oksana Morhulets and the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Oleksandra Olshanska, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design, Olena Chernyavska became the initiator of many projects at the Faculty and the coordinator of Erasmus+ programs.
One of the first applications for the Erasmus+ program, won by the team, was the KA 171 program with the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS, Tallinn), visited in early December 2022 for the exchange of experience of administrative staff and teaching activity by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activity, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Oksana Morhulets, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business Design, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Oleksandra Olshanska, coordinator of Erasmus+ programs, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olena Chernyavska, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor Talіat Bielialov.
The joint work program of the ERASMUS+ teams of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences was extremely rich and productive. The Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences was represented by Rector, Doctor of Sciences Mait Rungi, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, PhD Ly Hõbe, Head of Scientific Activities, PhD, Associate Professor Marina Järvis, Researcher, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Olha Prokopenko. During the week, there was an active exchange of educational and scientific achievements, the experience of innovative practices, the development of the main vectors of cooperation, the analysis of opportunities, and the specification of tasks to achieve a synergistic effect from cooperation. The participants of the ERASMUS+ program of KNUTD and EUAS gained invaluable experience in communicating with administrative staff and teachers, got acquainted with the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process, the structure, and content of educational programs, the achievements of teachers and students in research and project activities.
In addition, during the visit to the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor Talіat Bielialov gave a series of lectures and practical classes on innovative entrepreneurship and business design for students at the Estonian university. It should be noted that his author’s course was highly appreciated by the Estonian students and teachers, and it was suggested to make a video recording of his lectures to make it possible for more students to listen to them within the framework of the ERASMUS project.
It should be especially emphasized that the management and colleagues from the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences welcomed the delegation of our university very warmly and invited them to festive Christmas events, held both for the employees of the university and for the entire Ülemiste – the smart city of Tallinn. With a welcome speech and sincere wishes on behalf of the management and staff of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, the Vice-rector, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Oksana Morhulets addressed the audience.

After the visit to the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, the ERASMUS+ team of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design visited the partner university in Poland – the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza.
The extremely warm reception of our partners on the eve of the Christmas holidays was a successful final point of the international academic mobility of the University’s ERASMUS+ team. The KNUTD delegation was received at the highest level – at a meeting with the Rector, Doctor of Sciences Mait Rungi, and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, PhD Ly Hõbe, a number of important issues of further cooperation were discussed, in particular regarding the inclusion of KNUTD students and teachers in the ERASMUS+ Program of Polish partners, which are already in place, the development of the main vectors of cooperation in the direction of coordination of internship programs, joint scientific publishing activities, double diplomas for students and implementation of joint international scientific projects.
At the end of the visit, an interview with the Rector of Łomża State University of Applied Sciences, dr hab., Professor Roman Engler and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activity of KNUTD, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Oksana Morhulets, was recorded for Polish television news.
