On January 17, 2023, KNUTD was visited by long-time partners of the University, the representatives of HERZ Ukraine company. On behalf of the University, the guests were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation Volodymyr Statsenko and the Director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies Ihor Panasiuk. The head of the Marketing Department Tetiana Kivalo and the engineer of the Technical Department Mykhailo Matsunych represented the company HERZ Ukraine.
Founded in 1896 in Vienna, HERZ is an Austrian company that is recognized internationally. HERZ is one of the leading European manufacturers of valves, fittings, circuit regulating valves, dynamic control fittings, and thermostatic valves for heating, air conditioning, sanitary, and gas appliances. As part of the cooperation since 2018, the company has been providing equipment for the creation of the exposition of the Energy Efficiency Center of KNUTD.
At the meeting, the results of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Energy Efficient University” and the possible areas of further cooperation were discussed. An agreement was reached on the involvement of the University students in practical training at the training center of the HERZ Ukraine company and the involvement of company representatives in the educational process as practical teachers.
As part of the meeting, the educational manual “Hydraulics – the heart of water heating” was presented, authored by Dipl. engineer, Professor Rudolph Jaushovetz.
20 copies were given to the University. Anyone interested can read it in the KNUTD library and at the Department оf Computer Engineering аnd Electromechanics.
Also, the company representatives visited the Energy Efficiency Center where further participation of the company in the modernization of the Energy Efficiency Center equipment was discussed.
