On February 28, 2023, the students and academic staff of the Faculty of Design visited the knitting factory “ROZA”. The event took place as part of the practical training of students, which has been ongoing since February 6, 2023.

The head of the Sales Department of the KF "ROZA" Lyudmyla Moskalenko hospitably welcomed and guided tour for the graduates of the bachelor's degree educational program " Apparel Design" (Groups BDo1,2-22, BDo1-3-21, BDo1,2-20), master's degree EP "Design" (by types) (MgD2-22), as well as scientific and pedagogical staff: Oksana Pasko, dean of the Faculty of Design, Kalyna Pashkevych, head of the Department of Art and Fashion Design, practice managers, teachers of the Department of Art and Fashion Design: Tetyana Krotova, Olena Gerasymenko, Petro Garkin.

Those present got acquainted with the production processes at the knitting factory, inspected the knitting, cutting, and experimental workshops of the enterprise, the workplaces of designers, constructors, and clothing technologists.

The head of the experimental workshop, a graduate of KNUTD, Lesya Pukhova, introduced the students to the work of the experimental workshop and emphasized that for a future clothing designer, it is necessary to acquire such competencies as knowledge of materials science, mastery of computer programs for developing sketches, knowledge of design and product technology, etc.
