This year, the Biosphere Corporation decided that a full-scale war should not stand in the way of activities to popularize recycling and support ecological production. That is why the undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design have recently visited the Polygreen recycling plant (Fastiv city).

The director of the plant, Oleg Lozovoy, showed the students all the stages of polyethylene processing: from the process of sorting polymer film waste to the production of several types of secondary granules. In addition, in a warm friendly atmosphere, we received answers to all the questions and were acquainted with the assortment of goods for daily demand, made based on secondary raw materials. With the management of the enterprise, we discussed the problems of personnel training, improving the qualifications of employees, and signing a Memorandum on cooperation with the University, in particular, regarding the organization of student internships.

We are glad that our undergraduate and graduate students are interested in the topic of recycling and conscious consumption because this direction is the future!
