Recently, undergraduates and post-graduate students of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving got acquainted with the work of such well-known enterprises in the field of processing polymer materials as PrJSC VENTS and KYIVGUMA LLC. These enterprises have been partners of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design for many years. KYIVGUMA LLC is the Ukrainian market leader in the production of rubber, latex, PVC, TEP, and silicone products. VENTS is part of the Blauberg Group (Munich, Germany), which is currently the most dynamically growing international group in the ventilation field. Many graduates of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving began their careers at these enterprises.

The employees of the enterprises told our students about the peculiarities of working under martial law and familiarized them with the range of products. Students had the opportunity to visit the central production units of the enterprises and inspect the new modern equipment. In particular, Alina Yermak, a 2021 graduate of KNUTD, and currently the deputy head of the central factory laboratory for the production of latex and composite materials of KYIVGUMA LLC not only familiarized students and postgraduates with the work of the main equipment for the production of polymer products but also paid attention to the requirements for the professional qualifications of young specialists, shared her experience of working at the enterprise.

This active and fruitful cooperation with the enterprises of the industry helps to increase the level of practical training of students and postgraduates ensuring their demand on the labor market.
