Speakers of the training – Andrii Lytvyn, Yevhen Motolyzhenko, Oleksandr Popov, Ivan Hryshchenko

On April 6, 2023, the second training “Prospects for the export of Ukrainian clothing and footwear in war conditions” was held as part of the series of offline events “Economic Front”, organized by the Shevchenko District State Administration in the city of Kyiv in partnership with the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development and the national project “Action. Business”.

Speakers of the training were Andrii Lytvyn, Deputy Director of the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development, Yevhen Motolyzhenko, Head of the Department for Entrepreneurship of the Shevchenko DSA, Oleksandr Popov, Acting Head of the Shevchenko DSA in Kyiv and Ivan Hryshchenko, Rector of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.

The event was organized for executives and managers of small and medium-sized businesses in the light industry. The University was represented by Ivan Hryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, and Viktor Lishchuk, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Educational Investment and Technology Cluster of Light Industry in Kyiv.

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to talk with the officials of foreign representative offices and discuss the current issues regarding the development of the light industry in Ukraine and ways to enter international markets, namely: prospective markets for exporting Ukrainian clothing and footwear to the EU; trends in the EU market; requirements for clothing and footwear on the EU market, etc.
