On April 6, 2023, a meeting of the scientific group of the Art and Fashion Design Department named “Topical trends in fashion design” was held (supervisors – Prof. Nataliia Chuprina and Prof. Tetyana Krotova). It was dedicated to the study of varieties and implementation of research stages of pre-project works in fashion design.

Students of bachelor’s and master’s degrees of higher education, educational programs «Clothing design», «Design (by types)» reported and discussed the results of individual projects, which were published during the International Symposium «Creativity. Technology. Marketing», the V-th edition; International conference «Technical Scientific conference of undergraduate, master and PhD students» (Technical University of Moldova, Chisinau, Moldova); International and All-Ukrainian conferences «Hagenmeister readings» (Kam’yanec-Podilskiy National University named after I. Ohienko, Ukraine), «Innivations in education, science and business: challenges and opportunities» (KNUTD) etc.

The individual project tasks developed by students within the topic of the meeting of the scientific group consisted in the pre-project definition and implementation of the main factors of children’s clothing design, taking into account the age characteristics and needs of children of different ages. Active discussion of created sketches of children’s clothes with pre-determinated properties caused lively interest and exchange of creative ideas among students of bachelor’s and master’s level of higher education.
