On April 6, as part of the internationalization of higher education and in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and Kaunas University of Technology, signed at the initiative of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving, the first public lecture of our foreign colleagues was held. Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Polymer Technology of Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), Dr. Virgilijs Valeika gave a lecture on “Proteins in cosmetics and pharmacy”. The lecture was held free of charge in the ZOOM conference format. Among the audience of the lecture were students, graduate students, and teachers of the Departments of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving; Biotechnology, Leather and Fur; Industrial Pharmacy. At the end of the lecture, the students asked questions and received thorough answers. We hope that such international public lectures will become a good tradition at the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies. And soon we will be able to listen to our colleagues from Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Germany, and other countries.
