One of the most effective ways to provide students with assistance in finding employment and employers in selecting qualified personnel is to conduct an Interindustry Job Fair, which took place on April 6, 2023, at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD).

As part of the Job Fair at the Department of Fashion and Clothing, a round table meeting was held with the students of the educational program "Pattern Making and Sewing Technology" and the faculty members, featuring Ukrainian designer Olena Tsymbal, the owner of "HELISSEN" brand.

Olena Tsymbal shared insights on the intricacies of creating products for her own brand "HELISSEN" and revealed some trade secrets of the profession.

The following topics were discussed during the meeting: branding and its structure; current trends in the industry; requirements for sewing with silk fabrics; peculiarities of working in a family business; additional knowledge needed for modern business management; information about the Ukrainian manufacturer of ceremonial clothing "Pokrov"; available job vacancies in production; insights on the development of artificial intelligence and the potential impact on certain professions; practical usage of artificial intelligence with examples such as CHATGPT and MIDJOURNEY; key points to consider during job interviews; skills necessary for successful job interviews; the most important qualities in the workplace; criteria for choosing a job for personal development; conflict resolution strategies.

Thе students of the Department of Fashion and Clothing actively discussed and asked questions about topics that interested them the most during the higher education roundtable.

The employers who participated in the Job Fair emphasized the importance of such events, as they facilitate direct communication and the selection of qualified workers for production purposes.
