On April 11, 2023, in order to improve the quality of the educational process and the internationalization of higher education, a lecture was held in the format of a ZOOM conference for applicants of the first (bachelor), second (master's), third (educational and scientific) levels of higher education in the specialty «Law» of a lawyer from an American Law firm Leech Tishman, LLM candidate (Master of Laws, 2023) University of Pittsburgh, USA Vnukova Anna Andriivna on the topic: «Protection of trade secrets in Ukraine and inspiring experience in the USA».

During the lecture, the essence and features of the legal regulation of trade secrets in Ukraine and the USA were revealed, the relationship between the categories of trade secret and confidential information was considered, the specifics of the trade secret protection regime were outlined, classic examples of trade secrets were given, and the advantages and disadvantages of trade secrets were highlighted (compared to patents), characterizes the features of the application of measures against the enterprise and counterparties in the direction of trade secrets, summarizes typical cases and judicial practice on trade secrets in Ukraine and the USA.
