On April 25, 2023, as part of the work of the student club " Modern approaches in the design of the educational interiors" (supervised by associate professors of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, Danylo Kosenko and Oleksandra Shmelova-Nesterenko), a scientific seminar was held on the topic "Design of the Environment of Informal and Adult Education".
Bachelor's degree students were introduced to the features of creating an interior environment for informal and public educational spaces. The event discussed the principles of adaptive and multi-scenario approaches to designing such spaces.
The supervisors of the scientific club emphasized the features of flexible planning and subject-spatial filling: mobile interior elements, furniture and equipment. Significant attention was paid to the artistic and aesthetic characteristics of informal educational spaces, including materials, colors, textures and professional compositional solutions.
During the seminar students got acquainted with the diploma project of Tetiana Havrylieva, a graduate of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design, on the topic "Peculiarities of the interior design of a public lecture hall based on public urban spaces", which was excellently defended in December of last year. The demonstrated work clearly shows the use of the above-mentioned principles of designing informal educational spaces.
