Student life is not only the acquisition of new knowledge, abilities, and skills but also interesting acquaintances, excursions, exhibitions, loyal friends, exciting competitions, master classes, promotions, etc. Students have the opportunity not only to take part in the events but also to organize and conduct them independently, thus completely immersing themselves in the vortex of University life, which allows them to feel like real participants in the educational and research processes.
On April 1, the students of the Faculty of Design organized and held an exchange of funny gifts on April Fool’s Day so that everyone could experience this holiday to the fullest.
The students registered in a Google form and chose the method of gift delivery – in person or by mail – and wrote about their likes and preferences regarding the expected present. Next, they received their partner’s contacts and agreed on a meeting place.
The participants increased their circle of communication, found new friends, received nice gifts, and shared their impressions of this promotion.
All the participants were satisfied and in good spirits!
On April 21, KNUTD library welcomed students on the occasion of World Book Day.
The library staff conducted a tour and presented an exhibition of old magazines and books on design and fashion. The oldest magazine dates back to 1895 and has survived to this day.
The students were impressed by the exhibition and remembered the fashion of those times.
On April 24, an OPEN AIR was held in KNUTD Park on the occasion of Earth Day. Yelizaveta Tsyhanenko (Group BDg5-22) and Anna Kulinich (Group BDg4-21), the students of the Faculty of Design, performed the songs “Another Love” and “Witches”, and Anna Kosiichuk (Group Bdo2-22) presented a choreographic composition.
As part of the event, a charity fair was held, where all those willing had the opportunity to present their products. All collected funds have been transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.
Photos of our designers and board games were also presented.
All the events were held at a high level. The students received positive impressions and emotions.
We wish the organizers creative inspiration and further success!
